DennisG,

I had to ask if you had any replies to your question. I am fairly new at this and was curious what the answer is. I was having the same problem with my test, it basically didn't move and I started out with live rock. So I finally bought some cheap damsels and so far no change but I did find out that my alkalinity was way to high, but I thought it was to be at 1.026 according to what I read. Then I finally went to the fish store and asked them to test my water to see if I was off on anything. That's when I found out I was to be at 1.012. Surprising how hardy these damsels can be. Anyway just curious as to what your answer was.

Hi Cycling can take up to six weeks. The most important thing is to be patient and not go to fast. You will get there in the end
