I sometimes see at the aquarium shops, vegetables in the tanks for food. What veggies are ok for the fish and do they need to be cooked or blanched?? I have a 50g tank of african cichlids and a pleco and a 27g with barbs, danios and a pleco.

Thanks, Rick.

hi rick

only just joined the site so i've just read your thread, i feed my plecos cucumber twice a week, i put a slice in at tea time and remove it the next morning but you can use other greens like peas, courgettes hope this helps mate.

p.s. by putting veg in your tank you get to see a bit more of your shy fish,
