I'll have a diy 350g set-up by the middle of summer and hopefuly cycled towards the end of the season. I plan on adding 2 species of different color Cynotilapia and a couple of mild Psuedotropheus species. (Flameback and something else.)I'll also be adding 5 or 6 Synodontis catfish and 6-8Labidichromis species. My question is what wouldyou recommend to add from the Peacock and Haplochromine species to make a colorful and lively tank.

I'm not worried about cross-breeding as there will be no place for the fry to hide the way I've designed my diy background and tank formations. I,ve also decided to limit the size of the fish to 8"-9" max.

So, what would you do?
