Hi all. I have a blue gourami that has been acting unusual as of late and could use some advice. "Big Blue," as I call this particular fish, will sometimes swim around my aquarium frantically and ram himself against the glass or submersible heater I have hanging in the tank. I also have a gold gourami and it sometimes does the same thing, but not nearlyas frequently as Big Blue. I keep my water clean and have a 36 gallon tank, so they have plenty of room in my community tank that is also stocked with guppies, a bala shark, an albino shark, and a algae eater. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Before i started a salt take i had some of those same fish. Sometimes my bala shark would nip at the gouramis fins. I also have experienced if the temp. was too high my fish would acted a little hipper.

Cravy 8svt, thanks for the help. I did a water test and the
nitrates were high, so I vacuumed the gravel and did a partial water
change. Since then, Big Blue's exhibited a much better temperment.
