Default Peaceful CAE

Hey everyone,

As most people know, Chinese Algae Eaters are known to be aggressive and mean, 'sucking' fish to death. But mine, which I have had for almost seven years, is quite the friendly one. He has never hurt another fish, and the only fish he fights with are the ones who first go at him. Though he never attacked angelfish, gouramis, Cories, tetras, etc. and any other community fish I had/have. I do remember however when he would take on my three Convicts, and win. But now that my tank is a community one, and the Convicts and other aggressive fish are gone (he outlived them all), he is retiring peacefully in the tank. He likes sometimes guarding over my Cories and watching out for them. And he never is aggressive.

I just wanted to post this, because I wanted to share that not all CAEs are always aggressive, as mine has shown.

Matt
